Tonight I was finally able to catch "2nd Friday". 2nd Friday is a tradition that the boutiques have had for a few years now in the Chicago Art District. On the 2nd Friday of each month all of the galleries stay open until 10pm while displaying their current exhibits and serving cocktails. It is basically a social gathering for all of the art community. While I was out I was also able to commission an artist for a few pieces...Stay tuned..
