Chapter 18: Yesterday's Emergency Vet Visit

So yesterday I came home to realize Rome had scratch marks under his arm pits...I immediately called the breeder and close friend, Travis (FireLine Pits), to see if he could help me out. He assured me that it sounded like he suffered from "Hot Spots" and told me to purchase some hot spot spray from my local pet or feed store....I should have listened. Me, thinking it was an emergency rushed Rome to Petsmart, which was closest, to see their in-house veterinarian Banfield. Never AGAIN!!! The customer service was horrible! The receptionist was snobby and felt it was her job to leave out the $36 "Vet Visit Fee". They also tried to get me to purchase all of their "special" products starting at $24 with the exact same products right in the next aisle for $4.00!! I was furious and just declined all service and products and just bought the spray...Still had to pay the visit fee and scrape test fee = $65.00, just for them to say he was fine. This is him "after" the visit....15weeks old
